Haydn is the seed for this rich program from the incomparable Emerson String Quartet, which features the first of Mozart’s exquisite quartets dedicated to Haydn and Beethoven’s stunning final musical statement, Op. 135. Poetic French pianist Jean-Yves Thibaudet joins for Fauré’s First Piano Quartet.
