“Antoine Tamestit possesses the most elegant viola tone in the world.”
The impeccable Antoine Tamestit was so enamored of Bach’s Cello Suites the first time he heard them, he briefly considered switching instruments. He performs two suites on viola, juxtaposed with Hindemith’s Sonata for solo viola, alternately moving and wild.
There is no late seating.
This performance is approximately one hour with no intermission.
